Can I buy a particular treatment instead of an amount in Gift Cards?
The delay in the effects of Botox* or Botulinum Toxin Type A is primarily due to the mechanism of action involved. Botulinum Toxin works by binding to a specific protein at the motor endplate of nerves, disrupting the transmission of chemical messages (acetylcholine) that instruct the muscle to move. Although the binding process is quick, the complete silencing of the chemical messenger takes time.
After Botox is injected, it needs to inhibit the release of acetylcholine from the nerves, and this process takes a certain amount of time. The muscle gradually loses its ability to contract as the neurotransmitter activity diminishes. As a result, the full effects of Botox, where the muscle is effectively paralysed, become noticeable over the course of approximately two weeks. This delayed onset allows for a more gradual and natural-looking outcome, and it’s a normal aspect of the Botox* treatment timeline.

Finding us
Our clinic is located on the left hand side of Christchurch Road a few meters away from Kwik Fit towards Iford roundabout, just at the Hannington Road Bus Stop. There is plenty of transport link to Bournemouth, Poole and Chirstchurch all day and free parking outside the clinic for an hour and in the side roads unlimited.
