At Skin Health & Beauty Clinic, we are committed to offering safe, professional, and high-quality treatments. To ensure fairness and efficiency, and to protect the time and resources of our clinical team, we have the following cancellation and payment policy in place.
Deposits
-
A deposit of the total treatment cost is required at the time of booking for all treatments.
-
This deposit is non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time, in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Please note: for treatments involving Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A (commonly known by brand names like Botox®, Azzalure®), injectable vitamins, or certain polynucleotides, a £40 fee is non-refundable, even if the cancellation is made more than 48 hours in advance. This is because our booking system automatically generates a prescription and product order, which cannot be cancelled or refunded once issued (please see below for further details).
-
The deposit will be deducted from your final bill on the day of treatment.
This policy ensures that our clinic remains efficient, fair, and respectful to both our team and other clients waiting for appointments.
Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A, Azzalure® Appointments)- Prescription-Only Treatment
Botulinum Toxin (commonly known as Botox) is a prescription-only medication. Due to its regulated nature:
-
A £40 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your Botox appointment.
-
The deposit is ‘non-refundable under any circumstances’.
-
This is because once prescribed and ordered, the product cannot legally be used on anyone else and is tailored specifically for your treatment.
- Each client must complete either the Consent and Medical Form and attend to the pre-consultation, if required to get the prescribed product.
- The delivery of the product from our laboratories, pharmacies or suppliers take normally (no guaranteed) between 24 to 48 ‘working hours’.
IMPORTANT
Important Notice: Botox Prescription Rules from 1st June 2025
From 1st June 2025, new legal requirements under the Health and Care Act 2022 will apply to all cosmetic use of Botulinum Toxin (Botox).
Key Legal Changes:
-
Botox must only be prescribed after a face-to-face consultation with our qualified prescriber.
What This Means for You:
-
A pre-consultation may be required before your Botox appointment to assess suitability and allow time for the prescription to be issued. The price of the consultation will be £40 for it will be deducted from the final price of the treatment.
-
To proceed with the prescription and treatment, you must complete both a Medical Form and a Consent Form at the time of booking.
-
If either form is not completed accurately, our booking system will not notify us of your appointment, and we will be unable to process your prescription or prepare for your visit.
-
It is therefore your responsibility to ensure these forms are completed fully and truthfully when booking.
Prescription and Delivery:
-
Once prescribed, the product is ordered through our licensed pharmacies, laboratories, or approved suppliers.
-
Standard delivery is 24 to 48 working hours, but this is not guaranteed and depends on supplier availability and logistics.
-
Please book your appointment with enough notice, as we cannot guarantee delivery times.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we comply with UK law and uphold the highest standards of clinical care and safety.
Cancellations, No-Shows and Late Changes
We understand that life is unpredictable. However, missed appointments or last-minute cancellations prevent us from offering your slot to someone else. This includes bookings made the day before – we expect full attendance the next day.
If you cancel within 48 hours or do not attend your appointment for any reason (including illness, emergencies, or unforeseen events), your deposit will be retained, and the session will be considered lost.
Permanent Makeup (PMU)
Permanent Makeup requires that clients are in optimal condition. If you arrive under the influence of alcohol or hungover, we will not proceed with the treatment. A £50 fee will be applied, and the session rescheduled.
Please also note:
-
Follow-up sessions are not included in the initial PMU fee.
-
Additional touch-ups, including those after annual visits, may be required depending on individual skin and healing response and will be charged accordingly.
Cyst, Moles, Skin Tags & Milia Removal
Important Information:
Before undergoing any Cyst, Mole, Skin Tag or Milia Removal treatment, all clients are required to:
-
Complete and submit the Consent Form, Medical History Form, and Disclosure Form in full.
-
Send clear pictures of the area(s) to be treated, as requested.
These steps must be completed at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Failure to do so will result in the loss of your deposit, as this time slot has been reserved for your treatment.
Consultation Requirement –
Cyst, Mole, and Skin Tag Removal
For cysts, moles, and skin tags, an in-person consultation is mandatory before the procedure. This is to:
-
Assess risks, skin condition, and suitability for removal.
-
Discuss potential complications and aftercare.
If, after the consultation, either the medical clinician or the client decides not to proceed with the treatment for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded, as it covers the cost of the medical consultation.
